The Paleo Diet Controversy

The world over it appears like individuals are chatting about the Paleo diet. A number of people have written books, other individuals have produced DVDs, and even celebs have started endorsing the Paleo diet. It's no mystery, this diet is getting a great deal of attention. Yet, when the media fuss is this intense the outcome is more often than not similar. A lot of critics appear and attempt to rubbish it.

Some observers claim that the diet is basically one more "fad diet" similar to many before it, and hence will basically fade away from the headlines as fast as it appeared. But the fact is this, if you really consider it people have been consuming Paleo for a long period of time now, although they did not classify it as such.

In practice you will observe that anyone who tries to eat whole foods is almost certainly eating Paleo. Remember, Paleo is all about eating foods that are able to be found in nature and cutting out the food types that are processed in any way. There are plenty of vegans and vegetarians who for other reasons consume largely paleo foods. The only actual dissimilarity is that a Paleo rich diet depends on meat in addition to the whole natural foods. Meat is a good way to obtain the protein that must be part of our diet, and regardless of what your individual beliefs are, protein is something that all of our bodies need.  It is consequently fair to state that the Paleo Diet is most likely to be here to stay.
